Tedda health Science College is one of the five health science colleges in Amhara Regional State in North Gondar.
The set up of this college was done by an NGO named American Joint Distribution. There is no reliable evidence for what purpose this center was established. However before it began serving as a training center, it was employed as a temporary shelter for Ethio-Israelis who drawn from various districts of North Gondar.
In 2003 G.C this center was serving as a short-term training institute for traditional birth attendants as well as health workers since 2006 G.C. After 2006 G.C it promoted to Tedda Health Management training institution with the very objective of in-service middle level health managers training. Tedda health Science College has stepped up to college level in 2007 G.C. Currently it is training Clinical Nursing, Upgrading health extension practitioners, Generic health extension practitioners, Pharmacy Technician, Health Informatics Technician /HIT/, Medical Laboratory Technician and Environmental Health Technician.
Serving the country since 2003 G.C
