Department of Nursing, which is one of the pioneer departments of the College, possesses three programs – namely Nursing, Midwifery and Health extension programs to train Nursing, Midwifery and Health extension professionals who are highly equipped in Knowledge, skill and attitude as per the occupational standard and curriculum to serve the public with highly standard service to satisfy different health related community needs with a national standard. Among the two programs which have been provided in nursing department, nursing is the older one while midwifery and Health extension programs has been launched recently as per the national interest as a strategy to reduce maternal and neonatal mortality.
