This is Zemene Habtu Lakew,the dean of Tedda Health Science College, which is found in Gondar City,Amhara Region,Ethiopia.I have completed my elementary school education,High School & Preparatory School in Felegeabiot General Elementary School,Fasiledes secondary school & Fasiledes Higher education Preparatory School respectively.All of the Schools which I Have been learnt are found in Gondar City,Amhara Region ,Ethiopia.I have graduated my first degree in Debremarkos University by the department of Public health Officer in 2013 while I have Graduated my Masters Degree in University Of Gondar(UoG),by the Department of Health Systems & Policy, Specifically ,Master Of Public Health in Health Care & Hospital Administration with Great Distinction
in 2019. I Have 8 years Public service .Among the total 8 years service, I have served by being Clinician for 2 years, Primary Health Care Unit(PHCU) Director for 10 months, Hospital Chief Executive Officer(CEO) almost for 4 years & now starting from the last 2 years ,am the dean of Tedda Health Science College. I am 35 & the father of 3.

I am deeply honored and privileged to serve as the dean of Tedda Health Science College, and am enthusiastic about working with the institution, staff and students at this outstanding and hard working institution. I serve here with a respectful sense of stewardship and am excited to be part of the college community that is dedicated, caring and focused on level up grading. Be proud of having dedicated staff, visionary leadership; disciplined students with inquisitive minds; and a community that recognizes our College as a vital educational and human resource for Amhara Region & Ethiopia.
The College has developed various methods to ensure quality of education in all of its academic programs; and hence our students gain knowledge, skills and attitude that prepare them to live in complex Situations. Our recent accomplishments prove that Tedda Health Science College is truly on the rise. We intend to maintain this positive momentum as we strive for more successes.While we are happy with the accomplishments of our College so far, our vision is to be the leading societal problem solving institution in the Region, with a continued aspiration to be so
even beyond. The expansion and enrolment rates are rapidly increasing. Currently, we have planned to reach
over 2,000 students in 8 in Diploma Disciplines. Unconditionally, consistent communications with staff, students, community members, and partners; and an unwavering focus on what is best for our staffs and students are key principles of my stay as dean.
